It’s time for another Medieval Monday! Our theme is “Villains”.
I’m excited to share the ninth excerpt of this blog hop which is from Laurel O’Donnell’s book, ANGEL’S ASSASSIN . At the end of the excerpt, you will see where to go on the following Monday to find out what happens next.
“You had not finished your mission.”
“My time was up.”
“You never give up.”
“I didn’t give up,” Damien insisted. “She was gone. And my time was up. There was a good chance she was already dead.”
“But she wasn’t.” Roke rose out of the chair.
Dread seized Damien in a tight grasp as Roke stepped forward. How did he know she was not dead? Alarm tightened his stomach. “Where is she?”
Follow along next week by checking out Bambi Lynn’s blog with excerpt #10 https://bambilynnblog.wordpress.com/

When Damien enters Aurora’s life, tempting her with promises of dark passion and forbidden lust, he threatens to tear her peaceful world apart with shadowy secrets of his own.
Can Aurora’s light heal Damien’s dark spirit or will his evil consume her? The eternal battle of good versus evil, love versus hate, dark versus light, all come to a shattering climax in this historical romance set in medieval England.
